Bonjour BENIN, country #176 and I'm very excited to be here!

When I was in Togo last year, I learned all about the religion of Voodoo -- the oldest religion in Africa. I found it fascinating,

As soon as I got to Benin, I found out that the city of Ouidah is the center and birthplace of the religion, so I jumped in a car and took a 2 hour drive here to investigate and see what it's all about!

The best part about today was visiting the PYTHON TEMPLE, which is filled with hundreds of pythons! They are considered sacred around here. Very interesting stuff!
